The Salt Company has closed a number of deals on thriller Cleanskin starring Sean Bean, Charlotte Rampling, James Fox and Tuppence Middleton, including a deal with Warner Bros for UK and Australia in a deal negotiated with Salt’s head of international James Norrie.
Other territories sold include North America, France, Germany, Scandinavia and South Africa (Entertainment One); Spain, Portugal, CIS, Turkey and Eastern Europe (SPI); Benelux (Splendid); Greece (Tanweer); Middle East (Front Row); South Korea and pan-Asia TV rights (MediAsia); China (HGC Entertainment); India (Pictureworks) and Singapore (Cathay Keris).
Hadi Hajaig writes, directs and produces the thriller about a secret service agent working undercover in London’s criminal underbelly. Warner will release in the UK on March 9.
James Norrie said “Hadi has done an incredible job of delivering a multiplex thriller on a fraction of the usual budget. With Warner Bros we have found a perfect partner who recognise Cleanskin‘s full commercial potential.”
Hadi Hajaig said “Salt have been a fantastic sales partner for Cleanskin, for them to negotiate the UK theatrical deal with Warners was a dream come true for me, To also have Entertainment One pick up multiple territories demonstrates Salt’s skill in the marketplace and the commercial nature of the film.”
